Partners Capital was founded in 2001 by Stan Miranda and Paul Dimitruk, both veteran investment professionals, to provide outsourced investment advisory services to long-term endowment-style portfolios.

Partners Capital is seen as one of the world’s most respected limited partners across asset classes and has $38B AUM (as of December 2020). Within their private equity programme alone a team of 17 screen over 1,100 managers annually and deploy $1-2B across 12-15 annual fund commitments.

To capitalise on the volume of exceptional co-investment opportunities with the best of their closely aligned private equity investment partners, Partners Capital raised their first fund dedicated to co-investments in 2019, Merlin I. Merlin II is the second fund in Partners Capital’s co-investment Pooled Vehicle series.

• Merlin II will be a relatively concentrated portfolio of investments primarily composed of US middle market private equity transactions with exposure to Asia, Europe, and the UK. The portfolio will have exposure to buyouts, growth equity and select venture capital investments. Investments will be alongside highly aligned GPs who derive strategic value from Partners Capital’s participation.
